The Fastest Streetcar Shootout was first held in 1992 at Memphis Motorsportspark and was organized by Hotrod Magazine to find who really had the fastest streetcar in America! This became the starting point for other major streetcar races to develop like the Pump Gas Drags, Dragweek, Sickweek, and Rockymountain Raceweek!
Our goal is to bring out as many of the iconic nostalgic FSC shootout, NMCA, NSCA, PSCA and NMRA cars as possible for a no holds barred heads up Race! This annual race that will have classes for Nostalgic cars and todays crazy hp cars.
Is to make Fastest Street Car Heads up Drag Racing great again! We have Classes for EVERYONE from Nostalgia to modern-day street cars. New this year is the Pro Street Elite show and cruise.

Working diligently together with several racers to come up with the simplest ruleset to separate Nostalgia and Modern classes was impossible to be made perfect for everyone, but we feel we have a place for all cars to race! All the same classes are returning and more!
License plate, VIN tag and registration required (must provide proof of registration when checking in)
Back half vehicles only – No tube chassis vehicles are allowed.
No tire size requirements
Must be an all-steel, OE body with OE glass windows. All other OE bodied cars are allowed – example –
Corvette
No fiberglass body parts except the hood

Stock location of firewall and main floor required. Must be stock floor from firewall to rear crossmember.
Firewall and tunnel can be altered for minimum clearance needed.
Must have stock front suspension and frame setup. Direct fit, bolt on front suspension and stubs are allowed.
Must bolt directly to factory location. Anything welded on will not be allowed.
Stock appearing dash, door panels and carpet. No back seat required.
Side windows must function. Electric or crank mechanisms ONLY.
This is a carburetor ONLY class.
Engine – Stock bore spacing ONLY
No alcohol or methanol
Limited to one Power adder – Single 10lb Nitrous bottle, Blower, Procharger are allowed. No Turbos, No EFI
Drive required! This drive will be on the property only of Cordova Dragway and simulate normal driving
situations. Cars that do not complete the drive will be disqualified from NPS. Disqualified entries will run in
Nostalgia outlaw.

they will be disqualified.

FSC Exhibition Top 10 Shootout
This class is for Original FSC racers that want to relive the early days by making exhibition runs as well as
being in the shootout.
This class will run 1/8th mile
.400 Pro tree, Pro Ladder to determine the Top 10
All Exhibition racers can make passes every time the Exhibition class is called to the lanes.

Off-Site Drive Required! All cars entered must complete approximately a 40 – 50 mile cruise with one check
point. Must provide the proof given at the check point once returning from the drive. Vehicles that require a
tow or cannot complete the drive will be disqualified. Disqualified entries will run in Super Street.

Racers can enter just Grudge and put some money on the line or make a friendly race to settle who’s faster!
Drivers need to coordinate their own race and pair up in the staging lanes on their own.
All class racers can use Grudge for Test and Tune after being eliminated. As the event proceeds the class eliminations
will take priority, and it

The Drag and Drive shootout consists of 2 Classes
Big Tire Class
Small Tire Class
License plate, VIN tag, registration and proof of insurance required (must provide proof of registration and
insurance when checking in)
Off-Site Drive Required! All cars entered must complete approximately a 40 – 50 mile cruise with one check
point. Must provide the proof given at the check point once returning from the drive. Vehicles that require a
tow or cannot complete the drive will be disqualified.
Must have completed a Drag Week, RMRW or SICK event since 2005 to enter. Any car that has completed
can enter to qualify for this shootout.
Only 8 big tire and 8 small tire entries will qualify for the shootout. ET from qualifying sessions will determine
qualification. Must complete the off-site drive to qualify!
Can be entered in DND shootout and another competition class.
Can enter just to qualify for the DND Shootout.
All competition drivers and cars must meet all NHRA Chassis and Driver requirements during competition or
they will be disqualified.
The Prostreet Elite show & cruise is open to all prostreet builds of
past and present
Rear Tires must be a minimum of 14" overall width
All entries are welcome to join the offsite cruise with the competition classes along the Mississippi approximately 40 - 50 miles
